| Bio: | I'm a huge fan of Snarry fiction and well over 18 (almost twice that, in fact). I'm not much of a writer, but I started this LJ to post photos and art based on Snape and Harry. My photos are of asian ball jointed dolls in what is known as SD size -- about 60cm high. If you don't know what these are, run NOW! They are a horrible, expensive time consuming addiction. Having said that, let me introduce you to the crew: SNAPE (Alan Rickman MInimee)  This is a minimee -- a limited run (usually 20 total) likeness of a person made by a Korean company called Doll in Mind. Alicia Boates of Illness-Illusioin painted this doll's face. In person he's startlingly lifelike. SNAPE (Unidoll Jace)  The doll that first grabbed my attention was a Jace painted as Snape (by Alicia Boates). He is more melancholic and less furious than the other Snape -- more of a romantic fanon Snape. This is also the Snape that will wear bunny slippers. The other one would hex me in my sleep. HARRY (Migidoll Miho)  I've been trying hard to find a sculpt that suits Harry. In my head a young adult Harry is a bit prettier and more androgynous than young adult Daniel Radcliffe. The Miho is very intense, which I like (I can see him being powerful), but his features are a little delicate. I like him as Dark!Overlord!Harry (hence the dark mark sometimes). HARRY (Minimee work in progress) I need a more realistic Harry to pose with the minimee Snape. There isn't a minimee of Daniel Radcliffe, but I bought a cheap minimee head that someone had commissioned of their boyfriend (*cough* now exboyfriend) and have started modifying it using sandpaper and apoxie sculpt into something a little more like The Boy Who Lived. NAGINI Nagini is a rubber snake from Target. She cost $2.99, which is really cheap for a Horcrux. | |||||||||
